Our wedding takes place in May, one of the busiest months in Santiago de Compostela! Many pilgrims use spring's beautiful weather as a time to do the walk. Listed below are the three events where we will be gathering all our guests.
18 may, 2000H : WELCOME DINNER
The celebration begins with welcome drinks and tapas to bring together everyone flying in for the occasion. All of you are coming from both sides of the world, and we're welcoming you to Santiago de Compostela with delicious traditional Galician cuisine. Dress code is casual for this night, feel free to come in a light dress or a shirt.
19 may, 1200H : CHURCH ceremony
Our wedding ceremony will begin at high noon at the side chapel of the Cathedral. We recommend arriving at least fifteen minutes before the ceremony in order for our photographer to capture moments before the wedding. Spanish church dress code requires ladies to have covered shoulders so we suggest bringing a shawl for the ceremony.
19 MAY, 1400H : WEDDING reception
Cocktails and lunch will be served at Abastos 2.0, one of the city's top restaurants for reinvented Galician cuisine. From the church ceremony, please proceed to the restaurant located just outside the famed Mercado de Abastos where modern Galician tapas and drinks await you.
